Audition and self-tape coaching for theater, film, TV, VO, performing arts schools, and summer programs. Finding the right material and making strong, specific choices, and working towards auditions that feels authentic to each student.
Honest conversations navigating your child’s path in the arts. From choosing the right training, understanding auditions, necessary materials, and professional opportunities, I offer guidance grounded in my own experience as both a former child performer and a working artist.
From recording an original single/EP to putting together a solo recital for family and friends, let’s dream something up together and see it through from beginning to end!

"I met Sofie when I was ten years old and because of her I fell in love with singing and acting. Sofie has always been deeply, generously, and honestly invested in my development as an artist and human. At fourteen when I asked her to help me with songwriting she sat down and we spent the next two hours on it, at sixteen when I came to her with audition material she led me into the shoes of the character, and at seventeen when I called her minutes before an audition she ran my lines with me one last time before I was called in. My lessons with Sofie were a haven, a space of joy and inspiration, that I looked forward to every week. Not only was I able to master singing and guitar, but I was also able to learn about the various aspects of songwriting: musical instrumentation/composition, lyric writing, and song structure. Years later, I was able to put together an album of my own songs, many of which Sofie helped me with during lessons. Sofie is a kind and patient teacher who knows just how to walk the line between teacher/mentor and friend.
