Sofie's debut EP "until we meet" IS OUT!

My debut EP "until we meet" is out everywhere! I truly can't believe it! I've worked super hard on this and am so happy I can share it with all of you! Check it out on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Google Play, or anywhere else you listen to music!
I want to give a huge shoutout to my producer Lloyd Kikoler who has been by my side since the moment I decided to go for this thang! Also, to Ryan Smith for doing an incredible job with the mastering! WHAT A JOURNEY! I'd recommend listening to it from start to end, as it tells a story alternating between memories and present moments ✍️

"look at you" release show at Rockwood 2!

It was a blast being back at my favorite venue Rockwood! We played a bunch of songs from the EP, as well as some old ones. But prob the highlight of the night was singing my newest song “Chemistry” for the first time! The audience participation was on-point!

"look at you" is out!

AHHH! The final single is out before my EP release. “look at you” is about being tempted, wound up, and obsessed with that one person you were trying to avoid. Might be a buoyant beat, but there are some dark undertones… hope you enjoy! You can listen on any music platform now!

Sofie is named 1 of 10 NYC Artists to Watch!

Sofie has been named 1 of 10 NYC Artists to Watch by WFUV! Read the full article written by Kara Manning here.

Kara writes, “Zamchick wields mallets and plays vibes on her debut single and Tiny Desk Contest breakthrough "Electric Palms." But it's the New York City singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist's malleable croon, which flutters between sweet ("Mountain Top") and salty ("I Wanna Be the One"), that's most memorable. Zamchick, who's also an actress, voiced the character of a guinea pig in the children's TV series Wonder Pets, but she's more like a ferocious bluebird, especially in songs like "Get Gone."

First single out soon!

“electric palms” is set to be released on all music platforms on June 28th, 2019. It’s pretty damn exciting, because it’s the first original song i’m putting out there for people to buy (besides this single I wrote about the Newtown tragedy many years ago). I’ve been writing music consistently since about 8 years old and I’ve always dreamed of releasing an EP. Couldn’t have done it without my partner-in-crime/producer Lloyd Kikoler! Get ready <3

The EP is done

Eeeee! Sofie is ecstatic. The recording is done, the mixing is done, the mastering done. And the release dates are set this baby free out into the world. “look at you” is a collection of intimate autobiography moments from my story. This one goes out to all of you who have also experienced long distance, technology-based, or unrequited relationships.

Sofie returns to Nick Jr!

After 8 years recording the voice of Linny, the Guinea Pig on Nick Jr.’s Emmy-award winning TV show “The Wonder Pets!,” Sofie has returned as the sound-alike of Abby Hatcher in all promo material (not in the actual show though, in which Abby is voiced by a wonderful young actress named Macy Drouin). There are multiple promos underway, but here’s a cute intro video to the show. And here’s an adorable song for Valentine’s Day.
